He'p Me!

Welcome to the Dr. Hunter S. Thompson Bulletin Board and All-Nite Shooting Range. There really isn't (or shouldn't) be a lot that causes you any usage grief...it's pretty damn simple, actually, and why you'd require help (or "he'p" as we say in the vernacular) is, quite frankly, beyond us. But undoubtedly some chuckle-head somewhere would complain if they couldn't get themselves Some He'p -- so in an attempt to head 'em off, here we go.

This Thing Looks Really Weird

You either have CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) support turned off in your browser or you're using a really old (or really crappy) browser. Turn it on or get a real browser, Bubba.

Initial Display

When you first land on the board page, you'll see the 50 most recent posts. Next?

Wanna See More?

Yeah, well, we thought so. To see more posts (and there are over seven years worth of 'em, Dear Friends), simply enter a range of dates in the textboxes near the top of the page in a mm/dd/yyyy format. Click on "Get 'em" and you got 'em. Click the "Return to current posts" link which will magically appear to do just that. Sorry, posting HTML stuff ain't gonna work -- too many Rude People in the past have tried to do Bad Stuff.

I Wanna Post

Don't we all? Just click the "Post yr. Message" link and jabber away. Please note that The Staph is prone to deleting extremely racist and/or violent posts, commerical posts, spam and stuff like that. Otherwise, anything goes except links to nude pictures of Ann Coulter. **shudder**

Search 'Em, Dano

You can search through each and every damn post ever made to this joint. Why you'd want to is another story. If you want or need to search for something, however, click the Search link, utilise the form available on the Search Page and Bob's Yer Uncle! -- you Get Results! Pat yourself on the back.

AspenOnLine Stuff

Currently, the posts from the original HST Message Board can be accessed by the Reminisce With The Old Aspen Online Stuff link in the navigation menu at left. Eventually all of these posts will be integrated into the current database for a Seamless Searching Environment and to keep you buggers happy. Thank you very much, and thanks for all the fish.

Problems

If you encounter errors or problems, please let us know via the error page that might appear or by using the Report Problems link in the menu to the left.
